Product Review: Hydration Glow Hair Cream

12 Sep

Hydration Glow Hair Cream by Sakin’s Natural Glow

The description says:

Add glow and moisture to dull dry thirsty hair

5 Things I like:

  1. The ingredients are all natural including olive oil, african shea butter oil, soybean, coconut oil, and raw honey.
  2. A little goes a long way.
  3. The cream really does help with dry hair.
  4. It has a great smell.
  5. It is affordable at $7.50 a jar.

I used this cream on my hair after wearing a puff for a week.  I took a small amount of the cream and rubbed it between my fingers for it to melt. I did that for each braid.  My hair felt good, it felt moisturized, and it also had a nice sheen to it.  There  was oil on my hands when I touched it a few minutes after applying.  That didn’t happen when I touched it after waiting more time.

Trip to Target

22 Jul

I went to Target yesterday.  (If you live in Atlanta, it’s the one on Moreland).  They did not have Kinky Curly yet, but they did have Shea Moisture, Yes to Carrots, Curls, Taliah Waajid, Jane Carter Solution, and Urban Therapy (which I’ve never seen before yesterday).  There may be others that I missed.  I purchased the Yes to Carrots shampoo and conditioner.  I used it for the first time last night.  I will do a review after I have used it more. I also purchased the Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier.  I’ll be reviewing that too.  You all are going to turn me into a product junkie.

One thing that I found amusing at Target is that they had the olive oil relaxer sitting next to these items.  I guess they figured it fit because it had olive oil in it.  I don’t know, but I do know that I laughed.  I got a few looks, but so what.
